Cute as a button

Lately, I was given a plastic bag full of plastic buttons. Originally intended for craft art that connects them together to form vases and bags. I have so much time in my hands waiting for new work to start that I decided to create some little crafty things.


Button Hair Grips:

Non slip black hairgrips, buttons hand sewn before glued.

Butter Yellow and Purple

Necklace:

Materials: Cotton Lace Yarn, white and dirty white buttons, white beads, clear Swarovski crystals, Glass Pendant .

Earrings:

These earrings took some time to make. Each one is handcrafted using lace yarn, carefully knotted button per button in a series alternated with white beads. The resulting earring is weird, funky, and amazingly light.

Bracelet:
Using lace yarn, the buttons were hand knotted around a braid together with assorted Swarovsky crystals. Lock makes use of the buttons and a loop on the braid's end.

Limey: Lemon Yellow, Lime Green and Dark Green
